Our Team

Alexis Winter, BA, MPN, RPN, RCC

I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing advanced practice (MPN). I am also a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). I have been working in mental health and addictions for over 13 years. I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy Level I and Level II, and Cognitive Behavioral Couple's Counselling (CBCT). I work with first responders and health care workers, and the general public, with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and moral distress. I also work with adults with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and other difficulties with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and coping. Additionally, I work with couple’s experience relationship problems, both desiring to repair and desiring to leave relationships.

Gail Manning, RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. I enjoy helping folks find new and creative ways to manage their mental health and emotions as they learn about themselves and how they interact with the world around them. I take an anti-oppressive, strengths-based approach to talk therapy. Our work together will allow you to identify unhelpful patterns, uncover your needs and desires, set healthy boundaries, and move toward your goals. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, psycho-education, and motivational interviewing, to offer sessions tailored to your needs.

Luke Galbraith, RCC

I am a dedicated registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling from Yorkville University (2024). As a counsellor, I take a strength-based, collaborative approach to supporting people. I bring 14 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, job seekers and employers in building accommodating workplaces. I am deeply committed to fostering independence and creating life and coping skills in the people I work with. I have experience working with CBT and somatic attachment therapy, along with a keen interest in including other modalities to create personalized approaches for the people I work with. I am interested in supporting people experiencing struggles with addictions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, past trauma, life transitions, burnout, gender identity and sexual orientation. Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship and working together in a kind and empathic framework that supports finding a path to what you want.
